Dave How big where the pieces you made and how heavy do you think they were? I understand that it depends on the size of rock you embed.

Love the way that looks. Really makes your tank have that finishing touch in my opinion. Great job.

Dave - I agree, this is great idea. It's look's amazing in the water and I like those shelves. It beats making a bracket out of pvc and stacking small rocks because of the space saving feature. I want to do this this someday and look forward to saving your detail instructions as a favorite

Dave, what magnets did you use? Also this looks great btw, I think I'm going to do this

Also do you think it's wise to cure the wall before going into the tank?

The link to the magnets is embedded in my write up on page one. Just to be clear though, I don't think the magnets were strong enough. I think the walls have stayed up because of their fit against the overflow box and the top lip. I would get stronger/larger magnets.

They say that this product does not need curing. I cured it though to be safe.

Yeah forgot to answer that question. Did an edit on my post above. FWIW Marco rocks now sells the cement and acrylic on his site in a package. When I did this he wasn't selling it, so I had to source it separately. I would suggest buying it from him to make it easy on you.
