So,
I had 2 darwin clowns and a small lazy goby in my 10g IM awaiting transfer to a more luxurious home. Possibly to the East side, to a deeeeluxe apartment in the skyyyyiiiiiyyyy.
3 weeks ago, the only change was addition of an emerald crab. I doubt he/she is the concern, but who knows.
Last Saturday I no longer have 2 darwin clowns, I have 1 darwin clown. We checked everything in and within 10 feet of the tank, no body to find.
Wednesday, I have 0 darwin clowns. Again, full Search and Rescue pattern, including actually pulling up the single large rock in the tank, no corpse.
These were not jumpers, there are no remains, the rock has no space for a clown to fit into.
Alien abduction? Are they being probed?
Any Doug Adams fans here? Was this a dolphinesque goodbye?
Yet, my immobile and lazy shark nosed goby is doing well. I would imagine if the crab were to blame, the goby would have been the first down.
But seriously, its a TEN GALLON! Theres nothing around it. I'm wondering if my 18 month old, who loves the fish by the way, somehow caught them and ate them or something.
Decided I couldn't leave the goby by itself in the 10.
I transferred him/her to my 25g to chill with my Picasso and my Snowflake.
And.....
Today I return home to find my Picasso about 7 feet away from the IM 25, stiff as a small white and orange board.
Not a good fish week here.
Going to have to fashion a screen top for the 25.
