Bailey is in COMPLETE remission !!!!!!!

Just got back from the Vet. Bailey has just completed his first round of Chemo and his Lymphoma is in complete remission. According to the Vet. Bailey had a 10% chance of complete remission, and he fell into the 10%. We're gonna continue with the chemo for another few cycles just to make sure. Naturally, there is NO guarantee for the future. However, his chances of a complete recovery are now a reality and not a distant chance....personally, I thank God for this and my employer for paying me enough to be able to have the opportunity to afford his chemo!!! So grateful.....

Wow gd to hear congrats and best of luck in the future. Its amazing how we get so attached to our pets isnt it.Bailey looks pretty content too..lol

By the way, he's sittin' on my son in the above pic. Though I look incredibly young for my age, I dont look that young. But I must say, kinda close though.

Woke up this morning an it's almost as if he understood the Vet. He's lookin even better this mornin'!! Thanks everyone.

After 4 months Bailey is still in remission. He has one more chemo treatment next saturday and that will complete his entire treatment. The Doc believes he has a 90% chance of a full recovery. Very excited about our last trip this weekend. Every saturday we have driven an hour and a half up the GSP to the Red Bank hospital.

Good to hear. Those Bassett's are tough dogs.
That they are. How've ya been? Ive been a bit busy with the kid and colleges and his Eagle Scout endeavors. My tank is doing good. Lookin to add some wrasses or Anthias. Getting rid of the dragon wrasse (finally caught him and put him in my sump) and the Foxface is gone. SO, now I have aflame angel, 2 clowns, flame hawkfish, goby, a a few chromis. Thinking of adding a few more chromis and a few anthias. Kinda like that combo. Anything new on your end?
