Banded sea star not looking good :(

Mr Smiles isn't smiling. Not sure what the problem is, he looks like he's molting (sp) or disintegrating ... a bit of oozz from one size. You can sorta see it here. Thoughts?

Sorry to hear that. Have you taken it out to check it?
Is it a cut or a parasite stuck to it.

I'm afraid that does not look very good. My serpent star did that and he didn't make it. He lost his limbs and his central disk started to disintegrate.

I hope I'm wrong and Mr Smiles gets better or someone else has any ideas.
