Best non reef safe fish

Looking for opinions on the best non reef safe fish, might be an avenue I go down with my tank so I'd like some opinions! Only have ever looked at reef safe lol a whole new world to learn of the other types of fish!

Names, pictures, experiences, anything appreciated!

What size tank are you looking at setting up? That will really determine what fish to look at.

I love the flame angel too but I just had to get rid of mine because it was picking at my sps... beautiful fish but nasty nippers...

I love the Butterflies, so many to choose from and many will fit in reasonable sized tanks. I really like the Pakistan and Blackback, to name two. Just watch cause some are very delicate.

someone had (may be still available) humuhumunukunukuapuaa trigger fish on chain-gang.
He's pretty and pretty non-reef safe.
You may have to practice saying the name before you ask for it.

Surprised no one said trigger fish...they are awesome and extremely hearty. Just be ready to spend money on the clean up crew as they will eat em...lol.

State fish of Hawai'i is the Picasso Trigger...

EDIT: oops just noticed shulzer mentioned the picasso already...lol.

+1 My very favorite Trigger.

In your guys experience, are they safe with other fish? Just not inverts? I don't really want aggressive at all, was more so thinking butterflies and cool looking obscure fish. :)

So how big is the tank going to be? I can name dozens of non-reef safe fish but depending on the size of the tank it is going to limit your choices.

The question itself was more so to learn some new fish, rather than what ones I can get specifically, but the tank is a 75 gallon standard
