Big Upgrade! 72bow to 75

OK, So its not that big of an upgrade.

Anyway I decided to move away from the bowfront and to a 75 a couple months ago and lets start by saying Wow that was a lot of work. Im just getting the energy now to post up some pics.

The good news is during the switch I only lost 1 fish and that was a firefish. Everything else is doing well and even my corals seem to have picked up right where they left off.

So heres the equipment I have now which is a big step above what I had in my old setup.

75 Gallon Deep Blue RR
48" Deep Blue Solar Extreme 4 Bulb T5 (ATI Special, Coral Plus, Blue Plus, Blue Special)
SWC 160
Aqueon Proflex 2 Sump
Mag 9.5
Reef Octopus 110 Pellet Reactor

During the move I did reuse half of the sand bed and added another 40 lbs or sand and also swapped out half of my rock and added another 50 lbs of reef rocks.

Inhabitants:
Copperband Butterfly
Fox Face
Tomini Tang
Firefish
6 Line Wrasse
Pink Spotted Watchman Goby
Rotal Gramma
Pom Pom Crab
Emerald Crab
Cleaner Shrimp
2x Peppermint Shrimp
2 Brittle Stars
About 4-5 Serpant Stars

Please excuse the pics, Most of them dont do anything justice! Im still working on getting better pics here.

And Finally an Acan Restore Project I was given. I was in a store and saw this Acan that had almost no color and you could see all of the skeleton so I asked if I could try to save it. Needless to say it turned out to be the nicest acan in my tank. The colors are just amazing on this.

Wow man, that scape has come a loooooong way! Looks awesome. Looks like a selection of zoas and palys too. It's pretty hard to get a good ID on them with that blue light. One thing I can say for sure is that the one pic isn't Hornets. The ring is too thick. The blue with yellow skirt may be Crown Royals. Check them out on ZosId.

Thanks Jose and Jonathan,

I am a lot happier with the scape and it was worth all the extra work. That whole rock work on the left is all zoas. I dont really have much more room so I guess ill have to start using the sand :) I do have another set of zoas that has a much thinner ring so they may be the hornets. Ill have to let them grow out a little more and see if I can id them then.

Thanks for the kind words everyone!

Im working on getting my camera setup to get better pictures and am also thinking about getting an extension tube to help get a little closer. I can't get myself to spend 3-500 on a true macro lens now.

Its been awhile so just wanted to update this.

Finally broke down and got Reef Breeder LED's. Since I decided to hang it in the canopy Im going to change some lenses out to 120 to get more spread in the tank. Other than that the colors are just amazing.

That is some crazy growth. That was under the deep blue fixture all that time right? By the way the tank looks great.

Yep, that was under the deep blue fixture, all 4 bulbs! ha

I know its a hardy coral and all but I was really surprised because without pictures you really just dont realize it.

Thanks for the compliment, hopefully i can keep it going!

Finally got my custom white balance on my camera set so I was able to get some pics without all the blue.
