lol yea there are others the beastie boys, phish, mgmt, wilco elvis costello..... it's a good mix of shows and is one of the premiere music and art festivals in the country.

Closest I'll get is taking my kids to see the Dead at the Izod in April. My Festival days are over !

I am proud to say their Ipods are full of music from my era! ;D

im not gonna make it this year, though Phish is playin 2 nights, i just cant afford it this year.

i went to 3 Roo's in a row, '05-'07. first year was great, 2nd good but stuck way in the back, 3rd was still good but i got stuck even father in the back and had to wait in 2 ridiculous lines to get in. i skipped '08 and went to Rothbury (best festival yet) and Gathering of the Vibes instead. there are better festivals out there, Roo just covers a broad spectrum of bands to bring as many people as they can.

i have become a part of the Vibe Tribe. this will be my third strait Gathering of the Vibes. its in Connecticut so its MUCH easier to get to and costs about half the price.
