Books worth buying

It seems the reef hobby has changes very fast so a lot of the books are no longer relavent. Any newer books worth owning? I mean you can look up a lot of stuff on the internet now but still its nice to have a good reference on all the coral species and their care etc.

Its true the hobby and husbandry keeps changing but I still find myself going back to some of the older books which still have some relevant information. Martin Moe being the most valid for me.

Bob Fenner The conscientious marine aquarist is a classic and is updated every now and again
Joyce Wilkerson Clownfish
Matt Wittenrich's Breeders book (Blanking on the name right now)

There are a few more that revolve around coral that we don't have but are fairly well known.

I've read

Joyce Wilkerson Clownfish
Matt Wittenrich's Complete Illustrated Breeders Guide to Marine Aquarium Fishes
Anthony Calfo's. Book of Coral Propagation, Volume 1 Edition 2: Reef Gardening for Aquarists

All great reads, Joyce's is an easy read, the other two are like text books (especially Calfo's book)

I am reading The Reef Aquarium, Vol. 3: Science, Art, and Technology next.

I love having books around. I agree with the Conscientious Marine Aquarist. I find it outdated, but if you stick to generalities it's great. But my goto book is The Dr. Burgess Mini-Atlas of Aquarium Fishes. For sure.
