Bowfront canopy lid

Hello all,

I am trying to get back active in the hobby after a brief hiatus. :)

Can someone help me build Bowfront canopy lid? I have the canopy already and it has about five-six inch opening in the front. I would like a lid with hinges (either open out or open in). See the image to get an idea. Let me know if there is someone that can build it for me. Needless to say, I am willing to pay for your time. Pl. post here or PM me.

Thank you
Arvind.

Welcome back! We wondered where you disappeared off to! Hope all is well. Looks like you should be able to have it open out from the center out to the side the same way the bottom doors open. Not that I could actually make that happen, lol.

Good to see you back around!

bow fronts are hard, i did mine myself, im not real happy with the out come, but its better than what oceanic gives with the tank, i had to glue multi layers of luan together on a template to match the bow, it was great at first, but when the wood relaxed the doors straightened out a bit so thier uneven, but atleast i can access the tank better and keep my artificial sun(3-400w halides) off the water

What size is the tank? If it's 72, 80 or 90 gal bow Perfecto makes a nice canopy with doors on the front. I have one, here's a old pic from when I first setup my tank

Mine is 72g. Your canopy looks really good. I will start looking for a perfecto canopy. Just that I put in lot of work in that canopy, I hate to start all over again. I guess I dont have many choices...

Thanks
Arvind.
