breaking down 125

kida off topic i guess im trying to get a job in de so i can move the family to wher ei can afford a house and buy more fish stuff ;D

i plan to clean it out on aug 27/28 since im usually off weekends or work saturday nights. anyone needs crushed coral thats been soaking for 3 years be my guest.

any thoughts or ideas for cleaning almost 200lbs of liverock and storing for when i move is helpful. i though about selling it all and going fresh but i decided to use the time inbetween to make rock scapes with it and get fresh stuff when i start to fill a sump this time around.

I don't know what your time table is, but the last time I had to break down my tank, I cooked my rocks getting them ready for my next set up.

if you want to save those rocks for next fresh setup (3months cycle and mature), I would recommend you to take the rock out, dry / bake it under summer sun which is the best energy free to clean your rock. once rocks are all white and dry, buy those big plastic brush and brush all the stuff that can get loose and anything out of the rock, then store it away or setup a sump with little light, saltwater, pump and ready to circulate the water and rock. oh small skimmer to skim off stuff and water change. this way, you will get fresh rock ready cycle for next tank. 3 months would be a feasible thing to do.
trade off, money and time. i think time is everyone get in this hobby. money is not so much for most of us (unless u are rich. if you rich, please contact me, I need your help :))))
