You know, I think I agree with you. I don't know why but something doesn't seem right about that video. It almost looks and sounds like it was lip sync'd to some high quality recording. The quality of the sound once she started singing seemed different from when they introduced her. It could just be the YouTube quality but something seemed "off".

She sang a little bit for one of the news shows...she's th real deal!

My take is that she can only sing THAT ONE SONG. Kinda like that singing frog in the old Warner Bros. cartoon.

she was on larry king last night - if she's fake it's pretty stunning because she somehow lip synced on live tv (tough to do - ask britany spear's sister..lol).

Regardless - remember how in american idol reject hung got all this glory and money for singing really badly...there's no doubt this lady is going to get that same kind of press. Simon cowell is going to sign her - mark my words.
