Brown Jelly Disease: Anyone have any Reef Vitamin C Supplement

Came home this evening to a bit of a mess.. Open Brain was covered in Brown Jelly Disease( had to dump it) half of it was skeleton, nuke green candy cane also skeleton ,touch too and two heads of a hammer are gone.. I just added 1000mg of vit c pill forum but it being a ascorbic acid it will keep dropping my PH drastically due to it not having buffers in it and god knows what fillers are in it.. I just just ordered some Kent Marine Marine Vitamin C but i really need some now for the next 14 days hoping it will stop spreading to my other LPS's.. I will reimburse you with a full bottle even if it's not full.. call or text me any time if you have some or know a LFS who carries it (609) 709 1565

Others suggest throwing out the infected coral. It sounds like it's on most of your LPS.

Trop carries brightwell vitamin c and r2r might also have it. We have some too but not sure where it is right now in the middle of our move

I have had this before on acans and a Goniopora Flower Pot but i have always caught it early and dipped in revive and only lost one frag from it so far ( until now).. My neighbor was watching the tank and not being a reefer he really didn't know what was going on. but then again BJD can happen so fast it could have started the night/ day before.. I really think we should start a vacation reef buddy program/Thread/ Forum

Thanks Mike, I might have to take that trip.. I also forgot Ocean Aquarium down my way even may have have it even though i said i would never go to that place again.. I might be heading to Galloway away today to pick up 2 BRS reactors from a member

Sid, couldn't you just get something from a local pharmacy? Talk to the pharmacist and see if there is anything he carries that is pure vitamin c.
