I have some crazy hair looking stuff growing on my liverock. Wondering if it is safe to have or what I need to do to correct this?

I believe one of my hermits ate one of the snails as I found a shell/what seems to be a dried up carcass <not sure>

I will post pictures soon as i can!

How old is the tank, could be part of a cycle in a new tank .
The extra nutrients from the decaying snail could also cause this .
You can do a small water change ,run your skimmer a little wet , reduce lights. You can also find the source of the excess nutrients ,hopefully just the decaying snail, remove the source and just let it run its course .
I like to let the tank figure out as much as it can on its own ;D

any picks? hard to tell, what type of tank? How long has the tank been running? whats in it? i doubt your critters are going to resolve the issue. my need a sea hare! depending on what it is!!!
