BRS Phosphate Reactor ???

Never used one or heard anyone using one, But it looks good. I was thinking of getting the TLF reactor but for 20 bucks more for this, you'd be able to run something else easily.

I seem to remember it was being discussed as a impromptu group buy. I would be interested in one if it works out that way.

I know that this thread is pretty old now... but I am looking to purchase a reactor for the GB media and this one looked best (feature wise). I was actually only considering a single BRS and not the dual, but did anyone ever pick one up?

If so, how do you like it? It seems like a lot of people have problems with reactors leaking, and considering this model appears to be based on the normal RO/RI container I'm guessing that it will leak less? Or rather have less of a chance of leaking.

Thanks guys!

I got one from TB Aquatics - a local Jersey guy and our vendor. no leaks. it runs well on maxi jet 1200. no complains. good price.

I noticed that they too had a similar model, but it looks like an older model.

Does it have the same features? The price is the same so I would obviously prefer to buy from a vendor.

½" fittings and ports throughout to reduce head pressure and provide ample flow rates. (New)
Swivel 90 degree fittings on both sides of the unit for easy positioning of the tube. (New)
high quality ½" ball valve for precise tuning. (New)

Do you run both GFO and Carbon in it?
