Not really. But will monitor it day and night.Definitely not bubble algae but it could be dinos or cyano. Does it tend to be less noticable at night time?
If it's cyano you can increase the flow in the area and oxygenation. Chemiclean works great too.
Dinos I've had great luck with 4 or 5 day black out and raising nutrients. Also uv sterilizer if it's oatreopsis (spelling may be off)
Can you siphon it out?It looks the same day or night. I increased flow and aim directly at it and doesn't blow off.
Under the microscope they have Syphichilis. When watching the tank I dosed with both Dinos and Bubble Algae to see which would win.
I tried a similar experiment with the fish. Let me know if they develop Ich or Syphilis.
I used chemiclean and now its green. So not sure what it is. I assume my 2 weeks away with flakes in an auto feeder every 48hrs was to much. That looks like cyano to me. I've battle cyano many times.
