I'm new to being able to get sps to live neverless grow. My bubblegum digi 's right arm seemed to die off at first and I was thinking it was dying and was tempted to cut the blackish stick off. The frag is now showing signs of new growth at the bottom and the 'stick' seems to be growing- leave it alone?

I would second this lol. I've lost quite a few of these sticks.
That said, I've had mine for almost a full year before I finally start seeing growth on it..
