Chuck. Where do you live? Maybe someone from your area can stop in to look.
It does seam to me like the sump can't handle all the water. Where is the level in the sump when everything s shut down? What size was your tank? You're getting around 2400 gph going to your sump. Is there anyway to add more water to the sump while still leaving enough room for the tank to drain down some?

Hey Mike THAT WOULD BE GREAT. Im in lake hiawatha. The water is as close to the top of my sump as I can get it without overflowing when my pump is off. Im lost at this point. big suprise I know... The thing that gets me is that my pump is only supposed to be 1760 gph at four feet and although I know very little or nothing about plumbing I know that 1760 is less than 2400. so I am figureing that my sump is too small or that im not actually flowing 2400. I dont have the upper manifold plumbed yet and i realize that the added head pressure will tame the pump a bit, but still not sure. I do know that there is a tank at Ocean Gallery ii THAT IS 300 gallons and has the equivelent iwaki pump . the difference is that there is only two drains on that tank and they have the oceanic #3 sump , the same skimmer and no issues. and no bubbles in the display. Could the added gallons in the sump be the difference, I wish I knew the formula to figure that out.. Is there anyone in the club that builds sumps ???? Not giving up yet!!!!!! :)
