Burnt Tips now have algae growth......

Due to the vodka dosing I've been doing, some of my corals had their tips burned....mainly my green birdsnests. Now, they have some green algae growth on the tips. Should I cut the bad tips off?

I would cut the tips off, we had something similiar happen when a birdsnest fell into a torch. We cut that part off and it has been doing just fine.

You can leave it alone. If all is well in the tank the coral will have an easier time re-growing over the existing skeletin than creating skeletin from scratch.

I recieved one like that. Kept blowing the algae off it with a baster and eventually it grew new tissue over it
