Ca Reactor Setup

I just got a home made Ca reactor (slightly modified SANJAY JOSHI) and it has been running for about 2 weeks.

My current readings are:

Effluent PH 6.5 (or slightly higher, but way less than 7.0)
Effluent KH is off all of my test kit scales

CO2 Bubble count about 20 per minute.
Effluent drip rate is a steady slow dribble as opposed to a steady drip.

Tank PH - 8.2 (daytime)
KH - 7.2
Ca - 390

SG - 1.025

What are good levels to shoot for regarding KH and Ca?

My 90 gal tank is moderately stocked w/ small SPS colonies (for now!) , and some LPS.

How do I get the ALK and Ca up?

In order to raise Calcium, you'll need to dose some kind of Calcium supplement. The reactor is primarily used to maintain the Calcium levels and Hardness. I still dose Baking soda and the Occasional Calcium to keep it where it needs to be, I do have my bubble rate at almost 50-60 bpm and the effluent at an even drip, almost a flow.

Last time I checked ::) my Calcium was at 420 and dKH at 8.6'ish

Add some magnesium to your water to enable your corals to utilize the calcium in the water, something about anions and cations and other stuff that helps with the addition of Mg ;D I'd like to be at 9dKH and 450'ish for calcium to make my babies grow.... Don't ask me what my pH is :D
