So after going out buying a new r/o unit and not dosing for a few weeks my new readings are as follows.
mag 1470
calc 460
alk 7
sal 1.024

Bought a few frags to see how they would do. The milli is growing good and holding its color well. The red cap turned pink and seems to be bleaching out. What would cause this

The Red Cap might be to high in your tank. Try to lower it down some.

Your new numbers look pretty solid. If anything some may say you Alk is a little low, but mine sits there constantly without issue.

What type of light are you running. I agree with Daniel move the cap down. They are pretty good even with lower light.

I run my two t-5's all day 1 50-50 1 true blue along with my reef brites. At night I throw on the two 400 mh's for about 4 hours then back to just the reef brites till darkness. I had 2 acans that lost there fatness and are rather flat now.

Yeah move the SPS down. Probably just too much light. Sounds like you got a good amount going. Start em low and bring them up slowly till they are where you want them.

I don't use one. I'm dosing though. Right now I'm at 56ml a day. I figure I will get a reactor once I'm reach 100ml per day or get a bigger tank, whichever come first.
