Tang police Tang police Tang police Someone needs to call the Tang Police. Tang police Tang police Tang police

My son is visiting from Rhode Island, and brought down a Scopas tang he no longer wants and dropped it in my tank. I already have a yellow, and I’m a bit concerned about having two Zebrasomas in the tank at the same time. The Scopas is a little smaller than the yellow, and for now they seem to be friends, swimming together. I guess it’s a wait and see.

Glad to see that are friends. Sonny was telling me he puts a Mirror in the tank to help introduce like fish in a tank. The fish think there is another say yellow in your case. Good luck.

Good luck Paul. If there's enough room in the tank you might be ok.

I had two yellows and a sailfin in the 220 and they beat each other up for a little while. only occasionally would i see them chase each other after a couple months. you should be ok though, yellows can be real jerks

i would imagine any two tangs are a risk - more so when they are the same family. But from what you shared - it doesn't sound like there will be an issue.

I still think it’s a crapshoot. I use to have two yellows (for three years) and all of a sudden they started going at it….to the point that I got rid of one yellow. I just have to keep an eye on them, especially as the Scopas grows larger than the yellow.
