Calling Fishermen....

I'm not a huge fisherman, but I enjoy it. I inherited a cheap 2-piece rod from my mother-in-law. It was probably bought at Walmart haha.

The pole is ok for fun lighter tackle fishing, but the spinning reel on it is toast. Looking for a suggestion on a cheaper replacement reel for use in saltwater.

HAHAHA....not an option. The pole itself is pretty solid. Landed a dozen or so False Albacore last year. Love those little torpedoes!

Wow, I learned something today. I use to be an avid bicyclist.....yea, those spandex pants and all....and just realized that Shimano bicycle stuff is made by the same company that makes Shimano fishing stuff. If their fishing stuff is like their bike stuff, it's quality. I think the majority of my bikes are Shimano. Unfortunately I'm not a big fisherman, so can't help there.....unless you guys wear spandex as well!
