Took the kids for a preview event given for members last night. They rehabbed the 3rd floor and opened it for kids. A lot of neat stuff (some of it noisy) for kids - interactive and such. They also had some tanks viable at a lower lever - easier for little kids to see in. And the best part, overwhelmingly reef focused up there. I know I've read that the clubs been involved with donations and such for a project and I'm not sure if this is it but there was a ton of stuff - maybe 4-5 large tanks and even a touch tank with shrimp and starfish. Too bad I didn't bring a ziploc. Could of used a coral banded pair :)

I was there a little over a month ago and it was closed off. I guess we will have to go back and check it out now!

Sounds cool. Glad to hear they have more reef oriented tanks. I didn't even know they were doing this.

I might be heading there Friday night to help with the tank we setup there. Maybe we can take a quick peek and see how it looks.

To reply to your question though Dave, no, NJRC doesn't have any involvement with what you saw. Our tank is in a classroom down in the basement.
