I thought I saw in a post about how the NJRC donated a tank to the aquarium? I was just wondering if this was correct and if it is what tank is it?

We did donate a fully stocked 180 to NJAAS. They are an educational organization housed in the aquarium, but a separate entity from the aquarium. Unfortunately the tank is in a classroom and not visible to the public.

Unfortunately we lost most of the corals through a learning process and many other bumps in the road during the beginning and hope to get it back in shape soon.

NJAAS and NJRC were approached by DVRC to donate time and money to help maintain the tank jointly. We were talking to DVRC and working things out before the holidays and should have a planning meeting with them sometime soon.

No, as mentioned above, the Aquarium and NJAAS are two separate entities.

Would be nice to try and setup one of the monthly meeting there and do a behind the scenes tour of the aquarium. When we get the tank straightened out of course.

No problem, doesn't hurt to ask. I have some contacts at the Aquarium from my volunteer days. I will talk to the rest of the BOD and see if this is something that has ever been looked into.

We have gotten the season pass. It is good for us since I am a block from the Riverline. That way my kids get a ride on a train and the to see the fishies.

I have yet to find a place to give a discount for being a NJRC member. I am in SJ and all of the local places say they don't including the Hidden Reef
