I’m trying to post some things in the deals and steals section and I’m getting a message that my account has insufficient privileges. My subscription has been automatically paid in the past but I thought maybe it was left unpaid. I renewed another subscription and still can’t post and now I’m curious if I could be being charged twice.

Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.

Gotcha, I guess I remembered the vote wrong...
@joe b your account has been updated. Updating accounts is something I need to do manualy and I just got around to doing them.
@DangerDave as @ecambero mentioned the vote for the Deals and Steals went that anyone can see and comment but only paid members are able to create a post.

So how do I check to see if I expired? Do I get a notice?
When my membership expired I didn't get notified. The way to check when your membership expires:
Click on the tab up at the top right of the page that has your name.
Click on Account Upgrades
You will then see your membership expiration date.
BTW your membership did expire because your banner is missing NJRC Member
@DangerDave your account did expire. not sure why but we got an email from PayPal saying your payment was 'skipped' . Might want to check your paypal settings
