Come on! How long have you been in this hobby???? Even a novice would know this is a catfish! Maybe you are thrown off that it is a saltwater variety, but I would think that common sense would prevail. :)

It appears to be the felineophilia…a very nasty hitchhiker that is found in both fresh and saltwater systems. They are, for the most part, reef safe in part because of their distaste for wet feet. However, there appetite for fish is legendary. In fact they have been known to play with their catch and at times not even eat the little morsel. In addition, they are extremely independent and unpredictable.

It is catunis yuma!!!
They can live a long time outside the water, and usually rub against your hand when being fed. LOL

Love it!

Though this is precisely why I want a roof on our tank... Something tells me my cat, Hunter, who's never seen a live fish in his life, may live up to his name once we get some.
