Car Extended Warranty

Brought the Mustang for a repair and was advised no longer under warranty. Cost was only $235 with tax and valet service. Anyone use a 3rd party service like Carshield, Cachex, etc.?

I have an extended warranty through a 3rd party company for my Charger. I lumped it all into my finance though, there will however be a deductible for the work that would done. My rear differential was causing problems and making a ton of grinding noises and it only cost me $100 to get it fixed directly through the dealership.

My dealership extended warranty expired it was until July 25, 2024 or 85k miles. I still owe a few months on the loan. I was never notified or asked to extend so looking outside the dealer now.
