Challis coral bleaching

I can't figure out what's going on here. I have a couple challis corals that seem to be lightening up in wired spots. They are both mid to lower in the tank in decent but not blasting flow. They both seem to be spotting up at the same time. Just a couple weeks ago they both looked great and have been in the tank since the swap.
I am running AI Vegas on white 70, blues all at 90, red and green at 20
All sps look really good good color and good growth.
One thing also my acans are not puffing up like they were.
Can't figure it out water is as follows cal is high at 500, Alk is 9.1, nitrate 0, phosphate 0, mag 1400, salinity 1026.
Anyone have any ideas, maybe someone who is running Vegas can let me know what configuration you are running.
Also lights run from 12 to 7 pm with a two hour ramp time.

Where are they in the tank?

I keep mine low and to the very edges of the tank.

Chalices and LEDs can be a little tough sometimes. I have heard this a few times with led users. I would suggest getting them out of direct light for the time being until the my start to recover. Then slowly move them into a low light spot in the tank. What kind of flow are they getting?

I have vegas and have no problems get the alk down to 7 or 8 and put them in the sand, what kind of salt are you using.

Reef Chrystal's, and I'm testing with Red Sea which I thought the numbers were a little on the high side compared to Salefert, water is moving but not blasting, there pretty low already about 4 inches from the sand and have been there for months. they were doing great just recently they don't look so good.

I agree with putting them in the shade. I lost color in my chalices when I switched to LED's. Now they are either partially shaded or all the way down.

How long have you been out of coral acclimation mode?

That's a good question Brian, for a while probably since before the swap. I believe these corals were put in after acclimation mode was over

What the others said above is correct. Also, depending on the chalice, it can change. Some of the thin skin deep water indo ones have to be completely in the shade or they will bleach out. Others can take a bit more light, but generally they are down in like 200 par areas.

Thanks guys so into the shade they go. I was looking after the last couple posts and although they were low in the tank the light was fairly strong.

Good move, I had some chalices in my frag tank that even under t5s I had to have them under a frag rack or them bleached. They can be tough.
