Changing filter socks

Hockey, what do you store the dirty ones in? I put mine ina plastic shopping bag. After about three weeks one appeared to have mold growing in it. I definitely don’t want that in my tank

I store them in a Rubbermaid tote with a tight fitting lid. And in any case mold wouldn’t matter even though I have Never had any on my socks. I wash them in the washing machine with a cup of bleach and two rinse cycles and then I let them air dry before I use them so the bleach would kill the mold anyway so I wouldn’t worry about that, like I said I have never had more than any of mine

I agree Rob. Never had mold issues in washer with bleach and air dry.
