Yea they had three that were gone almost immediately just trying to find the third person that purchased one from them because our two died within a week of swap . Kinda hoping maybe they can make good on something maybe...
I got mine from AO. And he is doing great. Did you ask what there policy on fish replacement was before you bought the fish?
unfortunatly I don't think they will have any replacement on the fish cause they were discounted and it's been a week.
Had you of called them the next day or two after the swap maybe they would have done something..

That's the unfortunate thing about buying from a swap. Given the best conditions in a pet store these fish go through a lot of stress with acclimation ,then factor in all the variables from its source to getting into your tank it's a long shot for survival with all that stress. I personally don't buy much from the swaps for that reason, trial by fire in this hobby and the best lessons are the ones you learn on your own

Did you Quarantine them? What other fish are in the tank? What are the parameters? What is the size of the tank? When did they die - was it a week later? a day later? Were they eating? what did you feed them? How long was the trip from the swap to home?
So many questions before one can arrive at any conclusion.

How did they die? I have had fish from AO for years. What did you do with the purchase? I read you got 2 of them? Did they go in different systems? If so can you give us some details on EACH system? How big? Inhabitants? Parameters?
Please enlighten us with some more details.

The OP got his from pop corals. Not AO.
I think the OP is confused where he got them from. If I read this correctly he said yes when Hawkeye said it was AO and I gather that POP corals did not have any chevrons at the swap.
If the OP got it from pop corals, then I have to apologize in advance as I have no experience with them.

Pop corals had 3 @ the swap he is saying that he got 1 his friend got 1 and they both died. That is why he is looking for who got the third..
This post seems to be a response to Phil (hawkeye) post that they got it from AO. Hopefully the OP can clarify where he got it from.
