Chiller Plumbing Question

gotcha. my tank is built into a wall so the i have room behind the tank. this allows me to have two clip on fans and a suspended window fan blowing between the water surface and the lights. the problem is, my furnace and hot water heater are also in that room, so the temp is higher than normal in there year-round. the fans are on the same timer as my lights, and still the temps goes from 76 or so with no lights to 79-80 with the lights on.

everything in my tanks seems happy and healthy, i am just trying to 'dial it in' so i can keep fish/corals that are require a more stable temp.

Bill, not to sound like a wise guy, but my chiller has a discreet plug for a heater. I guess it's a built in control. The theremostat on the chiller decides whether heat or cooling is needed. No extra controls are necessary. The reason I mention is becuase I almost overlooked mine. Right now I have a heater in the sump set on 78 and the chiller is set on 79. The extra heater only comes on during cold winter nights.
