Chinese 3 x 55 led or T5 bulbs?

Hello everyone,

My T5 bulbs are due to be changed which will be 100$. I am seeing all this talk about the 55 x 3 ebay light. I have a few questions, would one cover a 40 breeder and how is the color?

Is there anyone local to palmyra nj that wouldn't mind letting me see one of these in action? I want to see if I like the color since it is not dim-able.

Joe, one of these is sufficient for a 40B. As far as look, they come in various combinations of white and blue LEDS, going from ca 10K to 15K to 20K. It all depends on the look/growth you want. I don't have the "Chinese" fixtures, but if you're in the area, you're welcome to check out what 20K LEDs look like.
