Citric Acid

Can you use store brought citric acid to clean equipment? Never really used it but I’m just curious. I just got an email from BRS showcasing their new product and it’s $12 for a 1lb container.

I know I can get store brought a lot cheaper off of amazon.

I think it’s the same, honestly I prefer vinegar.

Vinegar is what I use as well Work well on cleaning all my tank stuff

You can use peroxide or in the strongest cleans a bit of bleach in water but if ur not going to use the rocks let's say. I recommend letting them sit in the sun for a week. If it's equipment after cleaning with any of those things I rinse thoroughly in fresh water and rub it with rubbing alcohol. That is if were talking about deep cleans.
