I'm gonna be blunt and say worse. Your tank looks a lot better when its open

Seconded. Doesn't feel like it belongs. Just feels placed. Maybe if there were more tonga throughout the tank, sure, but it just seems out of place.

I think it looks better without it also right now, but...... You are going to need places for coral and with some nice pieces on it I think is will look a lot better.

Maybe if I run out of room I will try them. I actuwlly have alot more space for coral then it looks. Besides the tops of the bommies, I have all the way around that I can mount sps on their side

+1 I have the same thoughtI have added a couple pieces to my tank lately....but you have to find the right look I think.
The left hand structure is really cool, wouldn't change much about that side.

Decided to add a height difference in the bommies as I think it #1 is more aesthically pleasing and #2 it gives me more room for placement and #3 it allows me to better place corals that like less light. Heres what I did

These are tried and true. The magnet is conpletely enclosed inside the ceramic, not on the outside. BRS sells them. I have heard of people glueing them but when thwy get too large the weight causes the glue to fail so id be iffy on that.
