Just got home from Florida. Tanks a bit of a mess and needs some TLC, gonna get in there with a 25% WC and some good gravel vaccing. Seems like something went wrong with the light over my display and it stayed on the entire time I was away..
Stressed fish and lots of nasty algae, fortunately everything is alive though.

Yeah, probably the timer(s). I've had them do this in the past as well, luckily not too often. Guess it was like an all night party for your fish.

Timer is working as normal, I reset it and it turned on at the correct time this morning. But when I get home at 1:30 and the bright whites were on I realized what had happened in about 30 seconds

How did you get the fish through TSA in California?

It was actually Hollywood in Florida :p
I went to a store called Aquatic Jewels and had him put 4 bags around the fish and fill the first with 1/4 water and the rest pure oxygen. I went to Bass Pro and bought a little pop up cooler slightly bigger than the bags and put the bag in there. Went to the airport, got through whatever and at carry on check my dad told them I had a fish in the cooler. They thought it was meat (for food) and then were like "wtf" when they saw water and we had to explain it was a live fish, as in a pet. So like 5 more TSA guys come over and they talk for a minute, and the one says next time I should ask them to hand check it since the x-ray machine probably isn't that good for them. Then said take care of him and handed the cooler back.
