Clown feeding help

Is there any trick to getting a well grown clown to accept anything other then pellets and frozen brine. My guess is that that is all this guy ate while growing up. I have rod's, formula a, frozen mysis, and my homemade frozen. He won't touch any of it. He will try it then spit it out any goes on his way. He will eat pellets. But the only other fish is a clown goby who does not mess with pellets cause there to big. Most of the pellets hit the bottom cause he only get one at a time and then wait for the next one to come falling. The only other thing I've seen him eat is brine and I only use that when feeding the LPS. Any tips or will he eventually break and eat it.

I would imagine that he will eat it eventually. It's a good sign that he's at least trying it, even if he does spit it out.

maybe stop feeding pellets totally and just your mix. Hopefully he will take to them. If you keep giving him pellets he will wait for them. If he is hungry enough i'm sure he will eat the other stuff... Give him one pellet or so to not "starve" him and then supplement with other foods.

hate to break it to you but if it's an older big clown, "he" is probably a she. But I agree with the other posters - eventually she will learn.
