My maroon clownfish has bitten me once too many times. Jeez, they are so nasty. I have tried to trap this thing using fish traps, soda bottle, you name it. Darn thing is way too smart. At this point I will pay good money to anyone who can catch. Lol.

Karen, did you try the little trick of putting a hole in the bottle trap and squiring some taste food into the bottle with a turkey baster......and leave the turkey baster in that hole and every so often re-squirt water to make a snow-globe effect of the food therein. And mysis seems to work best. It's worked every time for me.

Also try not feeding for a few days before trying the traps. This way the fish is hungry when the food goes in the trap and more eager to go after it.
