Clownfish layed eggs!!!

My clownfish have layed eggs!!! I'm extreamly excited to start look into how to breed them! If anyone knows anything about this then I'm all ears. When I told my mom that I would probably need another tank she just gave me this look.:nevreness:
I started seeing signs of them breeding like defending around a certain rock and the male always seems to be right there and today I finally looked at my rock and there they were!

Hopefully one of the breeder people, like Hawkeye, will chime in.

I believe they typically isolate the eggs in a separate tank and have rotifers all ready to feed the little fry once they hatch. You set up a nursery just for producing rotifers.

reef boy, consider this a testament to your good reefkeeping skills. You better tell mom your gonna need like 3-4-5 more tanks for growout.

As red said fry will need to be collected the night they hatch, there are several methods. Then you will need cultures of small particle algeas to feed them.

The 5 tanks are need to seperate out individual fish based on size. As they get large smaller ones will get picked on if you dont move the larger ones on to a new tank.

I would suggest getting some books to read about it before you attempt to raise them. It is a very time involved project. Also try MFOIB also try joyce wilkerson book "clownfish"
