Do you have a picture of the fish? Is it one eye or both?

I am thinking some sort of bacterial infection. You will need to remove the fish from your display tank and set up a 10 gallon hospital tank for treatment. I would suggest a 10 day treatment of Furan 2 as per package instructions. Furan 2 is usually available at your LFS.

After reviewing some of my notes I edited my previous post and removed the Triple Sulfa as it is not needed with the Furan 2.

Sorry if it caused any confusion.

Sorry to hear about your fish.

Since the fish is eating pretty well I would suggest changing it's diet to a very high protein diet of black worms. You should be able to find them at one of your local pet stores. Do a search for one of Paul's postings about how good they are for helping your fish stay healthy and allow it to naturally fight its infection/problem.

I picked up a pair of clowns about 6 months ago (guessing time flies) and they were getting black dots all over them. It did not seem like black ICH and I had just gone FOWLER for double the ich free period after losing everything to ICH. Some research pointed to Zoa irritation as well causing the dots since the black dots were not raised or moving as required by B.ICH. Either way, I started feeding them blackworms 2-3 times a week and now they have no spots and they look healthy as ever.

If she is paying in the torch that could be contributing to the problem. I had a clown develop black spots from being stung by frogspawn which it tried to host; I removed the frogspawn and increased selcon/garlic, fed blackworms, and my fish recovered.

I had a similar problem with my clown. She had the same black spots on her. I moved around the coral and changed the diet slightly. Good luck with the fish.
