Has anyone ever been able to keep more then one pair of clowns in a tank?

I would like to get another pair for my tank but don't want to do it if there going to kill each other
Tank size is 180

Currently, I have four in my 55. It has been 6 months so it's too early to tell how they will do long term. They don't bother one another at all.

Krista, are they all from the same brood? And have they "sexed" themselves yet? And is there an anemone in the tank?

I attempted to introduce a second pair (already sexed) into my five foot 90 gallon (which had an anemone), and it was World War III right from the get-go. I had to remove half my rock to get the one pair out. Both pairs wanted the anemone.

They were all juveniles from different broods. Right now, they vary in sizes but the size differences are minimal. When they were introduced, I had two anemones.

The size of the tank isnt really an issue as long as its not a 40 gallon tank.

The issue is ANEMONES. The more you have the less likely pairs are to squabble. In the Ocean in a 2 foot by 2 foot area you can have 10 anemones and three pairs of clowns. As long as you have enough anemones there should be no issues.
