NJRC LOGO CONTEST

It's time to put a new face on this club to reflect all of the positive things that have happened in the last couple of years.  So we have decided to hold a contest for a new logo.  The new logo will be used on shirts (golf & T-shirt), baseball caps and membership cards, etc... for 2007 so keep this mind when your scribbling away.  The contest has some rules but more importantly it has PRIZES.  Check them out:

Entry deadline:  November 22nd 2006
Submit entries to: officers@njreefers.org

November 23rd thru November 30th the membership will vote for the finalists.  The top four (4) vote getters will move onto the second round.

December 1st thru December 8th the membership will vote for the Grand Prize winner.The 1st, 2nd & 3rd runners up will be determined by number of votes received by the membership.



Grand prize: 
$50 Gift certificate to either Dr. Mac or Tropicorium &
Choice of one of the following donated items:
Typhoon RO Unit from Air Water & Ice
Sea Swirl (3/4â€￾)
175 watt electronic ballast
Iwaki 30 RLT
30 gallon long tank
Dual 175 watt metal halide light fixture (48â€￾)

1st runner up:
2nd choice of remaining items listed above

2nd runner up:
SPS frag package from SMCooler


3rd runner up:
1 year membership with free admission to NJRC events for 2007

Designs should use original material or have written permission for use the images in the design if there are any.  The final design will need to be high resolution but we can work with the winner on this.  So let's see those new designs.

Do you have file dimensions? Are you looking for a replacement for the Circle logo above? or a rectangular logo.. or whatever the artist thinks is best?

As long as it's of high quality and can be manipulated to be put on a t-shirt, hat, etc..

The logo will replace the circular logo that we have now, but by no means, does it still need to be circular. You can make it an isosceles triangle for all we care!
