Thanks everyone for the suggestions,I might hold out and try the new red sea pump,comes with a 5 year warranty and is under $200.

I considered a Reef Octopus. For what it costs I didn’t like how, while adjustable, it’s only 5 settings. Of course you can still tweek flow with ball valves if you’re between settings but the jebaos are so well liked here that’s what I went with.

I like the feed option on the controllable pumps,that's the only reason.
I have all my equipment connected through smart plugs so I can remotely shutdown anyone of them thru the app or Alex. I don't really use feed mode but if I do I will program Alexa to do it.
Interesting that the Ecotech pumps, both the return pump and mp40 cannot be shutdown completely whether it's feed mode or you just want to shut it down. I asked the company reps at Reefapalooza about this and really didn't get a reasonable answer for it.
