Coral banded with other shrimp?

Can I add other types of shrimp with my coral banded? It is a small one, seems to hide a lot. I was told it will fight wit other shrimp, not sure if the guy at the LFS meant with other species or only of its own kind. I am interested in sexy shrimp/fire/peppermint/camel. Thanks

I have peppermint, c banded, and cleaner together they are all fine. How big your tank? If you put them in a 10 gallon there might be a prob. If you have coral forget the camel

i have had 1 coral banded, 3 pistol shrimp, 3 cleaner shrimp and 1 peppermint for over a year with no problems at all. I HEARD that 2 coral banded shrimp will fight but i cant say for sure. :-\

If you have a smaller tank I would be very cautious with a coral banded. We had one in a 20g and he would molt, then eat the smaller shrimp. He went through 5 shrimp like this. Camel backs are not reef safe so as Nick said be careful.

24 gallon nano cube, might try a cleaner but ill make sure i get a big one if I decide that then. I dont want my coral banded shrimp to have $20-30 snacks haha

I have coral banded shrimp in 65gal tank. He is very shy and comes out during feeding times and at night. I also keep cleaner, peppermints and a pistol shrimp. I had them for two years and they don't really fight (stay out of each others way) ;D
I read somewhere that the tank should have enough space for him to move around:

"In the home aquarium, provide sufficient room for the Banded Coral Shrimp so it can move about freely without its long antennae touching neighboring corals or anemones."
