Coral fusion

Anyone ever try fusing coral," not grafting as they are not plants". I have some accidental frags of green and orange monti I'm going to give it a try tomorrow

I've tried twice. Purple and green cap try to kill each other and purple and red digital just tried to out grow one another.

You may want to place a fresh cut edge of one against the fresh cut edge of other. This way their focus is on healing instead of killing each other.

Tool a dremel tool and did just that , for some reason the my green cap frags seems to always bleach out on me crossing my fingers on this one and put the frags in a high flow area

Orange is the dandelion of montipora it seems, every bodies got it can't give it away , speaking of which I've got frags if anyone wants them. What type of sunset monti you have

Mystic sunset ,tyree sunset, reverse sunset , poor mans sunset amd I'm sure a ton more

Sunset is encrusting type and orange cap is plating. That will never work

I'm guessing its a poor mans because I got it for cheap off another reefer.



I hadn't thought of the plating encrusting issue haha

I'm going to have to give it another try in a few weeks still dialing in my ai sol 's in the frag tank and bleached the frags out
