What is up with my Duncan, devil's hand, leather corals.
Pics pretty much explain it. All like this for 4 months.

seems sorta like bleaching but slightly different. I have a big devils hand that for the last six months has gone threw some issues, I have not seen real polyp extension like when I first got it in along time but as of the last few months I have found buds from the mother colony all over the tank growing nicely and with polyp extension the mother colony looks a lot like yours just it still has retained its nice pink coloration.
Considering the comparison prehapes there is something upsetting it when your not looking at night prehapes? do some investigative work and during the night when the lights are out for a bit with a flash light look around the tank and check for criters or other things that could be touching it or upsetting it.

Nothing is bothering it at night. The one in back gets little bumps at night. The white i don't see it. The Duncan have not seen heads but has tissue.

hmm? how long have they been in the tank an were they acting normal prior or has this been the entire time you have had it

I had a leather that rarely opened until I moved a Kenya tree that was close but not touching; now it’s open all the time. I’m thinking there was some allelopathy or something going on. If it’s been that long I’d move them further from whatever corals they’re near, and maybe move up or down to change the light Intensity they’re getting.
