I worked in Ocean Gallery a while ago and we had someone do the same thing. We had just got a shipment of rainbow scolys which were selling for $250 and up. This guys comes in goes straight to the back of the store and 2 minutes later he going out the front door in a hurry. The owner walks back and notices water on the floor then checks the tank and 2 of the most expensive ones were gone. They had him on video but no one could identify him.

some people are real scum.. This seems to be common.. just a few weeks ago it was a store in North jersey getting a puppy stolen. NY coral king had someone steal a bunch of high end zoa's that he was acclimating at a swap last winter. It's a real shame.. I'm sure the corals are dead by now.. if he can't afford to buy em, then he probably can't afford or doesn't know how to keep them. Things like this just end up costing US more money in higher prices at retail stores.
