Coralife skimmer setup

I have not used this skimmer in quite sometime. I need a pump but more importantly I forgot how to set it up.
Here is a pic and help appreciated as everything on-line is for the newer version. I think the air diffuser connects to the pump and the airline goes to the top of the flex hose?



I think I have the wrong diffuser in the first pic. Here is the pic with another one. I assume the airline tube would connect to the pump while diffuser sits on top.

Second picture looks right to me. The end of the air hose will connect to the Venturi on the pump and the hose from the pump will connect to the "nipple" behind the airline in picture 2.

Kevin is correct #2 looks correct. I searched the web for "Super Skimmer Mod" when I first bought mine and some of the suggestions improved its performance. I removed the flex tube and installed pvc with a Tee for the downspout and the other end open. I also added a small gatorade bottle with soda lime to reduce CO2 and a line to the air intake with a valve to restrict air flow which changes the bubble size. The one in the picture looks like a 125 or 220 which is the one I have.

Thanks for confirming. mrehfeld what size pump are you using?

I am not sure if its the 125 or 220. How can I tell the difference?
