Crazy Fish Tanks?

Wouldn't this be cool for a fish tank? You could have the sump right where that door opens!

It would be a cool concept. If you get it, I'd buy one of those tall type of aquariums for it to work properly. Use the top part as a lid (get rid of any metals for obvious reasons. Or paint/seal them)

This would look sick.

I have that very same popcorn maker. Fun for parties. Not real sturdy. I wouldn't suggest putting a tank in it.

This guy in R2R built a 18x18x36 tank (something along those dimensions).
The overflow ran through the middle and was covered with some kind plaster to look natural with shelves for corals etc..

Concept was cool but his check valve failed one day and was a disaster. He made some changes and got it running again but disapeared from the forums, or I stopped getting alerts from his thread.

As for those coffee table tanks, they look awsome if you willing to consitanrly keep it clean and time travel ahead of the ugly phases, lol! Plus its prob not gonna do any favors to your back.
