Anyone know where I can get a custom top off container? right now i have my 50 gal brute in front of the tank with my new auto top off (not pretty). i have some small space to the left of my tank that a nice custom rectangular container would fit containing top off water. anyone know where i could find such a thing?

thanks,

I'm using a container that I picked up in HD. It's sold for storing wrapping paper in.It's like 9"x15" and 24" high with out the lid. Lid adds 8". Holds abuot 10 gal.

Not sure of your size requirements or gallons you need... but I'm using the smaller one of these from "The Container Store". It holds almost 5 gallons. I would think the larger one holds around 10 gallons since it's roughly double the size.

They have a flip-up hinged top with latching lid. I cut a small section of the latch on mine to allow the pump hose and power cord to go thru (see pics). Also the roller wheels pop right out if you don't want them.

The contraption you see inside the container is just a suction cup attachment thing from an old heater that I fastened the hose/cable to and stuck to the inside of the container. This helped keep the pump from toppling over and kept it relatively flat on the bottom. It looks a bit tilted in the pic, but after adjusting the height of the suction cup and letting gravity do it's thing, it straightened out pretty good. (Sorry, no pic of the final adjustment.)
