OK so we all know how they either come in wafer form or frozen ... does it matter in what variation you use for better results or its all the same...

I use both powder and frozen, The powder works better if you soak it a minute before you put it in the tank, otherwise it floats on top and goes out the over flow. The live stock seem to respond to both types just the same.

I use Frozen. I have never heard of people throwing away their cyclop-eeze. Maybe I am misunderstanding the comment.

nope your not misunderstanding the comment. people actually throwing it away after two weeks b/c they didnt use the whole bar.. people are out of their minds i guess

I have a huge pack that is frozen and we just break a piece off thaw it in saltwater and feed. To expensive to throw out I would think as long as it is frozen and kept well wrapped it will stay for a long time.

Same here....cant see a reason to waste it.....I ziplock it in its original package and just try to break off a piece when I need it.

what exactly does this stuff do ive read about it but dont quite fully understand it
Not to much to understand about it....its food for your reef tank

I have the wafer kind...and EVERYTHING in my tank loves it....I usually feed a pinch once a day....I don't soak it, just pinch it between my fingers and run my fingers back and forth beneath the surface of the water....you can't just sprinkle it on top as it floats and makes a mess
